The WunderHive Story
Wunderhive is created by Mark and Clare, two tech junkies and real estate pros, who were always getting requests from home owners and home buyers for accurate real estate information. They teamed up with Jonathan to provide an alternative to the national real estate sites.
Before Wunderhive, everyone's most well known options were Zillow and Trulia. While these sites have tons of helpful information, are easy to use for home searches and provide quick estimates of home values...they are notoriously inaccurate.
Home buyers became confused and irritated when their real estate agent continuously informed them that the home they found on those sites were recently already sold or haven't even been available for years. Some of the "homes for sale" search results even teased properties that might or might not be available after a foreclosure. But there was no timeline nor any accurate updates because few foreclosures ever hit the open market as expected. Buying a home is stressful enough without all of this inaccurate information.
What About Zillow & Trulia
How does the buyer's real estate agent know that the home found on Zillow and Trulia isn't for sale or just sold? Their real estate agent has access to the MLS. The MLS is the only accurate source to find homes and other properties for sale.
So why doesn't Zillow and Trulia just pull their information directly from the MLS? There are several answers to this but the most significant one is:
